2nd year LSU guy,
keep shifting the goalposts. How's alabama doing this year with a "2nd year bama guy"?

Let's just say 25 to be safe.... I'm actually not sure

Crowton I'll say he did allow to bring in some new wrinkles and spread elements
and it almost got les fired and he remembers that point

I think there is a lot of irrational post and people are coming out of the woodwork just to say, "I told you so" about Les.
I think there are a lot of irrational posts and people are coming out of the woodwork just to defend miles because they are afraid of change and content with mediocrity.

The guy their fans wanted out after a couple of games?

that has gotten overblown, what nearly got him fired was the Co-DC disaster. Yes we had a ton of turnovers and pick 6s, but our hand was forced because that D couldn't stop anyone

I have no problem with change, I've said bring in Herman too many times. People just read what they want though.

How many weird, flukey wins did Miles pull out of his bag of tricks to stave off this inevitable end?
I watched the Iowa game yesterday, and I'd swear the Iowa Freaking Hawkeyes run a more varied, professional and creative offense than LSU has.
Iowa. If Les Miles had dragged the LSU offense to IOWA levels, I think most of us would be moderately satisfied. (The Iowa offense could win an extra 1-2 games a year, IMO, for LSU...)

Is that what the standard is now? How many games did Lsu fans want the following QBs out for?
Lee
Jefferson
Jennings
Harris

Unlike you I don't consider Jennings and Harris "first year players" when they were starting as sophomores.

If a coach went through the highs and lows like Iowa they would be fricked on this board.
Frentz has done well recruiting all 3/4* guys.

You've said to bring in Herman if miles isn't going to be at Lsu anymore. But you do still want miles at Lsu.

Love how you use these excuses for alabama, but then say 2012 was "a first year guy" for Lsu. Nevermind he was a 4th year junior.
AJ was a sophomore in 2011. Funny thing is bama sure does a great job of plugging in first time starters unlike LSU. Greggie mac in 2010? AJ in 2011? SYms in 2014? coker in 2015? When the hell has les done this?

Harris was fine until Alabama, everyone said he had improved and was going to do well. Then he shite the bed and threw a bad INT after the half which killed LSU

Because making a change to make a change is just dumb, you better bring in the right guy and that guy is Herman.

11 years of empirical evidence at that!

A) He didn't kill the 2nd half for LSU. One interception shouldn't make your coach go into panic mode and abandon the pass after that.
B) People were railing against the lack of passing game all season long. You were probably ridiculing them. Slowflopro would start a thread every Sunday on how no team in the last 20 years has won a national title with less than 2500 yards passing, and LSU was on pace for about 1800.
Heck, people have been railing on the offense for 7 of the last 8 years. Les just WILL NOT CHANGE.
