I'd imagine FSU can make a counter offer and Jimbo use it all as a ploy just to gather more money from FSU? At this point though, do you think he's going to burn bridges with LSU like that? Based on what I know about him, I highly doubt it. Obviously it's pure speculation on my end. I just have a hard time believing he'd do that.

Can LSU even allow him to sign any dotted lines while Miles is officially the coach?

it really does look like he's coming here, but one thing I know for sure in life is that you never know.

miles is 2-7 the last 3 years against Saban, Freeze and Bielema. He's only won 1 sec west title the last 8 years. He's always had problems with game and player management and on the field discipline. STop looking at his puffed up immaterial overall record filled with creampuffs. he's mediocre in the sec the last 3 years. this is the first time since 1966 we have lost 3 in a row by double digits.

You're an idiot if you think that's all it is. You obviously don't watch LSU football or you're trolling. It's not that we lose it's that we're not competitive when we lose. LSU has a long trend of collapsing physically and mentally for about 4 years straight. Miles had horrible 08,09 seasons with 10 being really the only one they didn't collapse at the end with that momentum carrying to 11 that was tarnished in the end. Been downhill since 2011. Anyone with eyes can see it.

I hope Moffitt is gone too. I think we need a fresh start in S&C program. I don't know how responsible he is for our soft play the past 4 years or so but you have to seriously question how his program is training LSU. He might not be directly responsible but he shouldn't be immune to criticisms. Probably best if all parties start over somewhere else.

I acknowledge Moffitt is one of the best in the business and he's been amazing here...just saying might be time to say goodbye since we're changing HC. What I know of his program is it's top notch but maybe he's looking for a fresh start too? We have no way of knowing if our physical collapse is the S&C program. Seems to be physical and mental fatigue to me, IMO.

I've heard that Frank is staying as well.

Would make sense if they've had discussions with current guys on the staff. Also think it's doubtful they've agreed on anything with Boom and Coley.
