I don't really see how his ceiling would be considered low

Probably dealing with self absorbed, entitled 16 and 17 year olds.

What are you talking about? The LSU job? Then you really have no clue. By the way, most coaches and players just sit around and relax all day on gameday. It is not impossible for him to field a call. Plus, the game was at home, so that makes it even more possible.

Physically impossible? No. Improbable? Absolutely.

Look. If what I described wasn't crossing a line in the sand, then Auburn wouldn't have cleaned house and left Tubby alone for it. The only difference in their case is that they went to an in-person meet with Petrino.

Maybe you don't give a damn about LSU's rep, but I do. You don't do formal interviews for positions that aren't open. Agents handle all of that initial stuff. That's how it goes. This is how athletic depts have done things for years. If Alleva gets caught with his hand in that cookie jar, I don't care if hires Saban. He needs to be FIRED. Immediately.

Tell me where I am wrong JuiceTerry. Miles was asked about the gameday routine the other day and pretty much said what I did. Players sleep in till 10. They go to church round 10:30. Have a brunch. Then lay around till they eat 4 hours before the game then go to stadium and start warm ups and group meetings. Seems like a lot of time for a coach to take a call to me.

Who was luring all those athletes to Oregon? I know Nike helped somewhat but still.
I was looking at his teams last night. Texas & FL were pretty well represented

I have no idea what's going to happen.

No sources. How do I get sources?

It appears that he simply doesn't like all of the non-football related things of the collegiate level.

interview was probably a strong word, a call to feel out his interest level is entirely possible

he's not a racist by any stretch, but he does have a track record of not letting "ghetto" culture get to far in his locker room.

Let's be real, you can't be racist and coach football.

He likely made a black player made who in turn construed it into racism. That's just how some work

Don't know what to tell you or how to get this in your head. Miles has been fired. He is done. If you don't believe me go listen to the radio show Wednesday night with most of his avid callers crying their eyes out when on the phone or in person. Everyone around him seems to get the picture, some of you can't.

Bellotti had a very hit or miss program. Oregon only had three double digit win seasons ever before Kelly started coaching there in 07. They reached double digits every year but his first and last. He made them go and offensively he would kill it with local talent. He has other issues though.

Was thinking the same thing. A football coach who hates blacks is a glutton for punishment.
