Herman would be an outstanding hire, agree to disagree. He is a brilliant mind and is quite sociable. Saban has reportedly consulted with him on his football knowledge.
I think Fisher, Kelly, Herman or Fedora would all do quite well at LSU.

Herman's the real deal. Take note of the difference in Ohio State's offense from last year to this year, with the same players.
He's a great recruiter, a great offensive mind (hell, a great mind in general, the guy is a MENSA member)..tbh if you're going to take a shot on someone it might as well be him.

I'm not a big fan at how easily people are dismissing the idea of chip kelly if he has a true interest. I don't think he is perfect but he resurrected a program in a very bad place. I think he would be a safer hire than Herman. Herman is just such a big risk.
