You should care GREATLY about Wilson. Alabama's Burton Burns is rumored to retire this year, if we don't keep Frank, he'll be scooped up by Bama QUICK.

All I care about is keeping Yaw Yaw and getting Jimbo. Anything else is icing. Hopefully we at least get Wilson to stay too. That's all I really care about salvaging from our current staff. Would not be mad keeping Raymond either but if he goes oh well...cya.

Moffitt tweeted something out about FSU in the past 9 years had like 20 players on rape allegations. Not sure why he's doing that but sounds like he's salty. He probably gone too.

They just gave him a raise last year. This may be one of those situations like when Skip was waiting for Saban to leave after the 04 season and announced that there wouldn't be any raises offered that offseason. They may just tell him to kiss off. It just depends on his relationship with the AD and their department, and how they feel about him looking around like this.

Any chance this is all a huge concerted effort to make FSU double down on Jimbo? Because that's where this looks like it's headed next.

Could be. Everyone could be getting fed bad info. It would be the first time my ppl are wrong.

No offense but this appears to be some backtracking. Your previous post said it was done other than maybe a grace period. Now you say you don't know if it signed?

I like Frank. Coach O and Wilson were the 2 I felt we must keep but I figured he might be Tulane's next HC. I'm not sure how serious they're looking at him but he seems like a good fit.

If Burns does retire I'm pretty sure they're still going to go after Wilson even if he's on LSU's staff...

Knows someone who would have this kind of information, willing to share it with said message board poster and message board poster runs straight to the message board and broadcasts inside information that the source thought was safe to share - in confidence.

Check!

These things always take longer than people think they will. Miles will probably step down monday or so, and if we got jimbo, he will prob be announced the next friday or so

as long as FSU can match, I won't be jumping for joy

I don't think money is a big a problem as people are making it out to be.

FSU is about to come under some serious heat with this latest rape report favorable treatment stuff. Stuff that happened 3 years before he became HC so that is an administrative problem. He is finalizing the divorce from his wife, and from what I read on a few places, his sick son can still get the care he needs down here. Plus he can also bring his brother on staff because it is legal in Louisiana, (again what I heard on here).

So if he got 6 mill to come here and FSU matched it, I don't think it would be enough. A fresh start here may be better, and honestly, I'm also just hoping that's what is on his mind

I think he means his sources are relaying it's a done deal but he's not going to have signed copies of a contract. Plus, I don't think Jimbo can sign anything while employed at FSU because it would be a conflict of interest/ETA: breach of contract.

It's not Moffitt. We have not been getting the players on both lines for the last few recruiting cycles. And there has been a lack of drive from those players. Remember the sign Moffitt put up a couple of seasons ago? That drive should be instilled from the top and it just wasn't anymore.

I don't doubt that at all based on how our lines have played. Chavis also really fricked LSU on the defensive line/LBs. We're going to be so bad at LB next year if we can't salvage our current class and also keep Beckwith...

That's not the way its been presented. An unsigned contract for what ever reason isn't done and wouldn't jive with him saying it's all done but a possible grace period.

You people are getting ludicrous. Conflict of interest? Breach of contract maybe?

I agree totally on the D Line. Not so much on the O Line. The last two classes have been solid, and this year's can be, if we hold it together. The problem is that there was a drop off before that, so we have had to play a lot of young guys this year, and the experienced guys out of position.

The young talent on the line will be fine. They just need another year, two for some who weren't developed at the same level in HS, and we will have a very solid line. The only spot where depth is really an issue next year is at tackle.
