I don't want art briles because he is a piece of shite. I don't want petrino or chip kelly. Both are good coaches but there defense sucks and both don't recruit. Chip kelly said he was tired of recruiting and that was a plus in the nfl he didn't have to do that. Petrino is a crappy person off the field and on the field. His personal life is none of my buisness but I remember the wr adams from arkansas almost kicked his arse because he kept calling everybody on the team stupid in practice everyday. I didn't like how he acted like a pussy after miles kicked his arse in 2011 and didn't like how he quit on the Falcons without talking to his team like a man during the season. I will be happy with jimbo, herman, and coach O.

This is enough right here for me to say stay the f_ck away from LSU. Great x's and o's coach, horrible person. Don't think our soul is for sale at that price!!

But very unlikely.
i get that some people may not have Jimbo at the very top of their list (to each their own), but it's crazy for anyone to assert that Jimbo would be a "bad" or "mediocre" hire... That's just silly talk.
I understand if he's not your #1, but if he's not at least in your Top5-6 then I don't know what to tell ya. If you totally rule him out and he's not even a legit candidate for you, then all I can say is I'm glad you're not leading the search.
Now if you're telling me he's 2 or 3 or 4 on your list and you're sarcastically tearing him down to pump up your favorite, I can buy that. But for anyone to assert that Jimbo Fisher "sucks" is just foolish.

Petrino quit on his Falcons players mid stride & left a short, typed note on each player's locker as his way of saying goodbye. He was universally hated for that alone. Throw in all his character issues & Skip has valid reasons for not only not liking him but for mocking him as only Skip can mock.

true, but lie with dogs and you get fleas. He would probably create some fun football to watch. The crap that he would leave behind and create off the field is not worth that risk in my opinion. There are other options that doesn't have his load of dirty laundry to contend with.

Petrino is not leaving Louisville. I am a Tiger fan living in Louisville and there is no way he leaves. 1. He has another year with Lamar Jackson 2. He has a $10 Million dollar buyout and a great relationship with Louisville AD Tom Jurich (he feels like he owes Jurich for giving him a second chance) 3. His family is entrenched in the community ( daughter runs Petrino Foundation here and his other children love Louisville). 4. Easier to win in ACC than SEC

His buyout is 10 mil per contract year left. We can't afford him. I believe he has 3 years left.

No it's not lol. It's 10m total...which is still ridiculous considering what we paid les to go mow his own grass.
Probably not reasonable. But petrino would kill it with lsu talent. I don't give a damn about his side dish at arky.
