Ya think?

At this point I don't know who LSU is going to hire. Haley is out after turning it down due to low ball money offer and is waiting to be fired to he can go to A&M.
Clark is out.
Steele is out & staying at Bama.
Pendergrast is out and going due to the scenic wheat fields of the Washington State Desert.
Shoop decided to use LSU for a nice Penn State raise.
Durkin decided Michigan was a safer coaching gig.
Orgeron is on his hands and knees begging for the job and appears to be the only person in the country who actually wants the LSU job. At this point Orgeron would probably give LSU money to coach here but at least someone wants the DC job.
Diaz decided MSU was a more attractive position than LSU.
Venables another LSU Miles pay raise recipient.
Stoops LSU tried to get him a pay raise but instead he was demoted for meeting with Miles.
I know there have been others as well who turned LSU down but you know what really pisses me off about this process--the fact that ULL hired a DC before we did.LINK
Usually the fringe programs have to wait until the major universities are finished hiring well what can you say about this

That you are a hysterical little girl.

MrLSU probably should be banned for that mind blowingly retarded b!tchy post fool of false information and/or accusations

IT IS NOT COACHES TURNING US DOWN!
We have a very flawed process. We are acting as if we have 6 months to find a coach

one of CP's conditions for accepted a DC job was he wanted to be able to select his own assistant coaches
This is not entirely correct more like at least
One Coach

Some are still claiming that CP is in the lead. Other's are saying this person or that person and there are all these smoke screens going on. All that makes no sense at this point. I could understand the first few days, but at this point, if you have your guy, just hire him.

He obviously wants to stay on the left coast especially if he is caring for a parent.
Incorrect also- His sister Carolyn lives in the city with his parents, cared for them while he was in CA- she will care for them again
Posted this very early in the process

Well, I was told that NFL teams were paying him crates of dollars just to consult for them with his defensive brain.
Can't get any better than that.

He is getting consulting dollars but desires to get back in the coaching game.
He is a football guru, loves, breathes and lives it.
I have said all along, the right phone call with the right person, a couple of concessions and he would be the coach.
Someone needs to tell Aleva and Les it is the ninth inning- stop playing small ball and go for the home run. We are losing the game.

So what's your relation with CP?
Posted on 1/8/15 at 7:38 pm to RL6680
Amazing how many people on this board know the ins and outs of the search. Are privy to each conversation within the search and know every person that has and has not been contacted.

Does anyone know if Clancy is doing consulting/scouting/game planning for any of the remaining playoff teams?
And if he is the man Miles is waiting on, is his ex-USC compat Coach O still in play for a position with LSU?

Never heard his name being on LSU's list?

This doesn't concern me in the slightest. LSU isn't competing for the services of DC from the same coaching pool. ULL's timeline for their hire means nothing to LSU.

What if CP wanted to bring Bebe in as DL coach and Miles didn't? CP and Bebe are friends.
