We need a QB if we get Leach. You don't think Jefferson can run his offense huh?

No, we don't have the qb unless we get Mett.

I think Lee could run it.

Leach would get some use out of the RB, just not as much as they do now.

I'll take less RB if it means we have a vastly improved passing game

I don't understand everyone's love affair with Leach.. When I think of LSU I don't think air raid.

not necessarily

Texas Tech averaged 252 rushing attempts per year under Leach, or about 21 per game

so while there would be a greater emphasis on the pass, the running game would not be completely thrown aside

Do you think of Air Raid when you think of Oklahoma under Stoops?

Because in the 1 year that Leach was OC under Stoops at OU they averaged 104 on the ground and 327 in the air per game (431 yds of offense per game).

I wonder if the people that bitch about winning "ugly" 20-14, would bitch about winning 38-34.

Don't want Leach. His offenses didn't do that much against really good defensive teams like OU and Texas. Granted he had no defense because he didn't care about defense but they played bowl games against defensive teams like Bama and lost. He rushed the ball but did not have the running game it takes to win in the SEC.

It isn't automatic, but there would be a dropoff and it would get worse over time.

it doesn't make us a bad defensive team at all. I think of it this way there is no possible way they can be more worn down than they have been the last 2 years. we probably give up a few more points this next year bc of no pp and sadly more hatcher on the field but the air raid wont hurt our d.

eta it might actually make us even better on d. we might give up a few more big plays doing this but with more points by our o we can apply even more pressure on d. we could blitz more knowing if we get burned its ok because the o will not shite the bed.

his offense isnt why he lost and bowl games aren't the best measuring stick for things considering unless its a bcs bowl there really isnt much on the line.

Have you watched any of Oklahoma since they had Sam Bradford?

What about this year with Landry Jones? His lowest number of passing attempts is 29 against Texas tech.

We may not be throwing it every down with Leach, but what about his style is so appealing? Just because it's a step up from crowton doesn't mean it's in the right direction.
