re: Does anyone here actually hate Chuck Schumer - MrTide33
I don't know if Schumer has reached that level for me yet, but I definitely hate Harry Reid. I remember laughing when I heard Harry Reid fell down the stairs and broke his face....

re: Dems to filibuster Gorsuch - MrTide33
I found it funny today that PLanned Parenthood came out in criticism of Gorsuch for his opinion on the Hobby Lobby case, which was of course upheld by the Supreme Court Yet, they also criticize Gorsuch for not calling Roe v. Wade some super-precedent that can't possibly be overturned. So to extre...

Beat my first lynel yesterday at hyrule castle :nana: Took a lot of Stasis+ and some patience. Probably helped that it was a confined space and he never shot any arrows...
haven't found a Malduga yet
There's one at Southern Oasis in Gerudo desert (Not too much of a spoiler I don't think as it doesn't show the name of the locations in regions until you've been there.) Malduga there is actually really easy to fight. There's a very simple strategy fo...
there is definitely a head piece, that is guardian resistant, and can be found in the wild for free . it requires diamonds to upgrade. not sure any rupees are involved in this transaction so that's why I am confused as to if you included this item or not.
That must be a differ...

re: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - MrTide33
I thought I'd contribute a guide here for those preparing to take on Guardians. At some point in time, you'll probably want to be able to wipe out Guardians quickly on your way to defeat Ganon. To do that, you'll first need to hunt the enemies a bit more methodically. Here are some of the help...

Got the Master Sword this weekend by making the same deal with the devil as Fox :nana: A note to those who haven't dared attempt Hyrule castle yet- do it. Just make sure to go in at the bottom. Not that difficult and you'll get tons of OP weapons...
Saw on Looper someone beat the game in 65 minutes. Is that impressive?
Pretty impressive considering you have to finish three shrines just to leave the plateau, and then you'd need a ton of extra heart foods, probably some defense and attack up boosts. Really, the collection of str...

I
Y'all need to read more into Link's relationship with his childhood friend Mipha. It's probably the most tragic story in the game. Based on the events set before Gannon's return, they were literally set to be married in the coming days with her giving Link the Zora equivalent of an engagemen...

Akalla Tower was awesome. Just took that one yesterday. Can someone divulge which forest Hestu is in? I wanted to come across him naturally, but I'd really like to expand my inventory sooner rather than later...
There will be a glowing white circle to stand in
Thanks  Switching gears: does anyone else find it odd that Link can climb ridiculously high mountains and cliffs but can't swim half as well as a normal human being? I understand wanting to force players to find...
it rains a lot more in the central hyrule and the surrounding parts of other areas. which made finding the memory locations with the castle as the central point of reference a huge pain in the ass.
How does that work anyways? Do you have to look at the picture when you thin...

I took at the Highland Ridge tower today by killing just one electric poe and two of the swimming electric Lizalfos. Took a bunch of arrows, but I didn't even require electric resistance. With those three out of the way, I successfully climbed without being noticed at that point.I also took the cent...

re: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - MrTide33
I've gone stam+, heart, heart, stam+. I figure I'm already at 6 hearts with 3 divine beasts left, and stamina boosts can only help in finding more shrines in the future to get the hearts required for the master sword. If the 13-heart thing is true, I wonder if temporary hearts can count?...

I pre-ordered for the Wii U and we're absolutely loving it. I actually don't mind the gamepad, I just wish the sheikah slate/inventory was available from the gamepad screen. I have conquered just the Zora beast so far. My wife and I are each playing separate accounts, so I can't make as much prog...

re: Is Moana the best Disney movie ever made? - MrTide33
I love Moana, but I don't think it's close to the best. Animation is stunning, songs are great but the plot is heavy-handed in parts. Disney has developed a tendency to force moments that show "This character is clumsy" or "this character is confused" instead of letting it flow naturally from the ch...
