re: Would you go to college for fun, and if so what would you study? - Jp1LSU
The wife and I plan to retire to a college town. I fully plan to take classes for recreational purposes. Good way to keep the mind active. I like the vibes of college towns....

re: What will happen to oilfield jobs when electric cars dominate in the next 5 years? - Jp1LSU
Cars are a small portion of the oil market. Especially in first world countries. Energy consumption is growing rapidly. It's a complex dynamic. Oil prices dropped this week because it's not overly hot in the north this summer. Nothing to do with cars on the road....

re: A kiss is usually the first serious act of physical affection between a man and women. - Jp1LSU
Thinking about this a bit, I disagree. I feel like multiple times (especially in semi-public settings) when the women initiates the action they've got straight for the junk so that you know they are DTF. Guys prolly in more situations than not start out with the kiss when they want to initiate sec...

re: What is there to look forward too in life after college? - Jp1LSU
I get what your saying. After 17 years of college I was reluctant to leave. I had to, and I truly enjoy the new chapter in my life but I miss it sometimes. 17 years isn't a misprint, granted I did change some majors and graduate a few times....

re: Rally Beachball - Jp1LSU
Steve Wells and family are very very well known here in KW. Because of his family the #7 is the most prized jersey number to wear in every sport at the local HS. Great kid, but I was still pulling for my tigers ...

re: what is the difference between southern and midwestern culture? - Jp1LSU
The Midwest gets painted with a very broad brush because Ohio, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Wisconsin isn't nearly the same thing. It's like someone from Boston thinking Shreveport and New Orleans is basically the same place. So the question is way too broad to answer. ...

re: Sports that "make" and attract lesbians - Jp1LSU
Both athletes and athletes can be what people describe as butch or dyke. In this day and age though I'm pretty certain few (very few) women reach 30 before diving head first into some muff at some point....

re: Is there still a stigma with driving a scooter? - Jp1LSU
Where I live it's the preferred means of transportation, but you couldn't pay me to ride one. Not because I'm insecure, but because about once a week someone gets killed within blocks of my house on one. I've been involved in two non fatal accidents once when the scooter was going the wrong way on ...

re: How long do you wait for someone at a resturaunt before leaving? - Jp1LSU
I don't go to the table until the whole party has arrived. So I don't sit at a table waiting for people. As for waiting at the bar? I'd prolly lose track of time. As a general room of thumb, its worse for everyone else when they leave me waiting for them at a bar. ...

re: NCAA Women's Track and Field aka soft core porn now NSFW - Jp1LSU
As a guy, part of the appeal of watching women sports is that they are good looking women. There's a simpsons episode where homer is trying to entice marge to bed and he says, "marge I'm ready I was was just watching women's beach volley ball on ESPN". I get that sentiment bothers women athlete...

re: Do parents focus too much on children's sports? - Jp1LSU
work with some older folks (in their late 30's-40's) who spend every weekend at a softball or baseball tournament. Are their children forgoing other opportunities to be more well-rounded? I can't help but feel that a lot of these kids get out of high school and have no idea what to do with t...

re: yet another best states ranking, LA #50 - Jp1LSU
To each his own, I have zero desire to live in a freezing climate most of the year surrounded by liberal beta males.
I talk to numerous guys who moved south for college, and they all say going to a southern school is a no brained for one reason. The girls are hot and the guys a...
quote: Have you even been to Disney or is this just internet research? Jp1LSU thinks that a classy vacation is Bioxi, MS, or Gulf Shores, AL. True story; I seen it.
Obviously you don't read sarcasm very well. That was a reply to northeast beaches being trashy and I respo...

re: Anything more lame than Disney World on a honeymoon? - Jp1LSU
Wish everyone the best at the next Brony convention. Our school here in Fl just recently took the 4th, 5th, and 6th graders to Orlando back in March. They voted on what park they wanted to visit. They picked Universal, when voting Disney didn't get too many votes. Like I said most kids I know a...
