These instate fellas are more in the mold of a 7 tech DE or could stand up on the edge in a 3-4.
Guys like Guidry, Logan, Taylor, even Lawrence can play 5 tech DE in a 3-4 or 3 tech as DTs in a 4-3...

Familiarity/relationships and budget/costs
Makes more sense to go to Karr then St Aug and talk to players or WM then Neville to talk to prospects and coaches.
This is compared to recruiting one's position and having to go watch a WR at John Ehret and then go see another WR at Byrd...
