Patterson High School Athlete Nehemiah Augustus
I really don't understand why LSU has not made an offer to this kid. He is the best athlete in the state of Louisiana for the year 2016. He may not have any stars, not many scholarship offers, and etc. I will tell you one thing he is the next Sean Taylor. Come out to Patterson in the Spring and watch the film from his junior year. You will be amazed by him. He plays everywhere on the field but defense is his thing.

Yes that is him and I promise you he is the best in the class of 2016 in Louisiana as an athlete.

WOW!!!! Kid is truly a baller has aggressiveness explosion burst and great hips for change of direction he's definitely a sleeper right now

Sometimes kids just aren't exposed as early as others and even late bloomers. Plenty of time for him to camp and the staff to see him.

He is only a junior and he has three offers right now.

This is the key. No one knew about Mathieu before he blew up the Tennessee camp the summer before his senior year. Then next thing you know he was one of the most sought after 3 stars in the SEC.

That is the same thing I was thinking and the great thing he has all summer long to show his skills. LSU will offer him when they see him in person at a camp.

Someone of you are just some dumb fricks... you know nothing about the kid and do not watch his tape and you make fun of him because of his offer list. I just looked at his tape and the kid is an animal. Can school anyone you making fun of him and will end up with an LSU OFFER soon i am sure.

Augustus Thread from earlier in season
I started a thread about him after we played him in the spring game and I saw Patterson scrimmage Thibodaux. He was by far Patterson's biggest standout player, even with Charlot and Jones on the field.
For those making comments about his offer sheet. In that thread from August his coach said he had offers from La Tech and Arizona State. That's not bad for a kid that was a Sophomore at the time.

Kid does look impressive but there has to be something missing because its impossible the staff hasn't seen him with Charlotte and Jones there. Maybe they're still evaluating him but its strange we haven't heard anything about him on the board to this point

It is nothing missing on him. He is under rated and will be getting more offers very soon.

I understand he's underrated but our staff has had to have laid eyes on him in person and on film. Either they think something is missing or he's being severely being kept secret by them

He has a good character and his grades I would have to find out.
