Could LSU lose BCS title game and still end up #1?

Let's say LSU were to lose to Bama in the dome. It was an extremely close game, maybe even a hugely controversial call (ie. PP7's pick in '09) LSU would have one more win than Bama, a better SOS than Bama, and it would be literally a head to head draw. When a team has hoisted the crystal ball...

I still haven't heard a clear answer to this: If LSU were to lose to UGA, but still be 1 & 2 (in any order) with BAMA, which one of its own rules does the BCS break? That 1 & 2 play for the title, or no 3 teams from same conference?...
