I still haven't heard a clear answer to this:

If LSU were to lose to UGA, but still be 1 & 2 (in any order) with BAMA, which one of its own rules does the BCS break?

That 1 & 2 play for the title, or no 3 teams from same conference?

when you say BAMA would be out, this would be only if they are #2?

Also, how do you know this would be true? Is there a rule for this scenario?

You obviously don't know the rules of the BCS. It won't break any rules

Correct, based on this. The CPU would fall and then you would have them lose votes for 2 by results of games that weekend.

Bama needs LSU to win to stay at 2

None of this is going to matter. LSU is going to roll next week.

No more than two teams from a conference may be selected, regardless of whether they are automatic qualifiers or at-large selections, unless two non-champions from the same conference are ranked No. 1 and No. 2 in the final BCS Standings.

You're welcome.

You have no idea what you're talking about right now. You should sit this topic out. You're just confusing people.

If LSU loses, it's possible for Bama to be #1 LSU to be #2 both going to the NC game, and then UGA going to the Sugar Bowl.

That wasn't the premise of his scenario. If somehow, LSU and Bama were still 1 and 2 after UGA beats LSU (which is possible if Stanford loses tonight and VT and Okie State both lose next week), then yes, there would be three teams from the SEC in the BCS.

Alabama will not go to number one in BCS without playing in SECCG.

Yes I didn't read op correct, but there won't be 3 SEC teams in BCS
