ISIS is not a threat to the USA or its allies Assad is not a threat to the USA or its allies
Don't keep up with the news much do you? I am sure France and Germany may beg to differ. I agree that we shouldn't be playing world police and getting involved in things we don't have a...

re: Ceasefire agreement reached in Syria - AgentUtah
On a macro global level, why are we trying to topple Assad right now? Won't that create a power vacuum like in Iraq where ISIS and Iran are now taking over? I know it will, I'm just trying to figure out why the U.S. foreign policy is heading in this direction.
its either one o...
Why is the right so resistant to alternative energy sources yet blame a recession on slumping oil instead of the real reason for our problems, Jindal?
Because the arguments used against oil are usually inaccurate or overblown and the arguments for alternative sources are usually su...

re: TOPS payments stopped immediately due to state budget crisis - AgentUtah
So am I understanding that a student only needs a 20 on his ACT and 3 B's and 2 C's in his core classes each year in high school and he will get the entry level TOPS award and his tuition paid for???? If so, that is so damn ridiculous. Imagine how much money the state would save if the re...

I know for a fact CF isn't going anywhere. They are in the midst of wrapping up a 1.5 billion plus expansion project in DVille and have subsequent projects approved and funded. Also they use natural gas as a feedstock, which they have a fixed price contract that was set in place with the supplier ye...

re: Anyone here have a thermal or Night Vision scope? - AgentUtah
i am using regular double AA batteries for now (had to pick them up on the way to the camp), but i will probably buy a set of rechargeable and keep a spare set on hand. It comes with an illuminator, but i haven't researched on a upgrade and probably won't until i use it enough to determine if a u...

re: Anyone here have a thermal or Night Vision scope? - AgentUtah
I just mounted and sighted in my ATN X sight this weekend on my 300 black out. Since we didn't get it mounted till late and wanted to play with the night vision we decided to sight it in at night. We sighted it in with one shot (plus a confirmation shot) at around 100 yds. The unit is a damn good va...

re: How often should one test for 1RM? - AgentUtah
Make sure to do some direct bicep work if you aren't already. A good portion of the people I know that have had tears didn't do any bicep work and thought that could have contributed to the tear. Just don't deadlift within a couple days of working them since they will already be tight....

re: How often should one test for 1RM? - AgentUtah
dude that's actually fairly normal lol. Everyone experiences those types of callus tears. Just clip it with finger nail clippers and DONT PEEL IT! It will be good to go in a couple of days. That sucks about the bicep dude. Was it a partial tear or a total detachment? I have seen a few of those su...

Fuk hook gripping lol. It takes awhile for those thumbs to get numb. I go over under. For me it helps to set your hands, then crank the bar(rotate) forward. It helps to dig the nurling of the bar into your hands preventing it from slipping as much in your hands. Another tip is don't peel those ha...

re: How often should one test for 1RM? - AgentUtah
Hell if I know lol. Maybe to emphasize correct positioning for lockout? Sometimes people use "cues" like this to coach a lift. Most of the time, for me at least, these cues do more harm than good and over complicate things. I have honestly never read any of Rippetoe's stuff, but I always see newb...
