Yeah, there is an estimated payment amount on the extension form you file. I don't know how they come up with the number. I just know you have to pay it by April 15 and your return is due in October. Same process for state and federal just different deadlines....

I received this notice saying I owe $5K from the 2020 tax year. The reason stated is that they relaxed the notifications during the pandemic. However, I have filed and paid as directed for the last 15 years with the same CPA. Has anybody had to deal with this? How should I go about fighting it? I...

Damn some of y'all are hard to please. Its not a terrible idea, and in this day and age it's probably the only way something decent gets built. In my experience almost any anchor will work on oyster reefs as long as you have a good length of chain attached. I use at least the length of the boat in chain. Its crucial to keeping the proper angle on the anchor. You want it pulling parallel to the sea floor as much as possible. ...

Tolerance is an incredible thing. I've been to the point where I was working 40 hours a week and drinking a fifth a day. Functional alcoholic maybe, but completely unsustainable. Luckily, I've gotten help and don't drink anymore. The human body is resilient though, my doctor says I have no long term...
