Do you like most people you meet?

I find myself rarely meeting people that I genuinely like. Just random people in various settings. Like 80% of the time I just find people weird or annoying.

This is how I feel about dating. Most of the chicks I date I don't like enough to marry. I want to have sex. Since I can't find a chick that I want to marry I have to find sex from a female that I'm not interested in marrying. I pretend to like her long enough to have sex with her. After her annoying habits outweigh the sex then I start to drift. Then the chick gets mad at me for playing games with her. I have no desire to use women, but I can't just come out and say I want to have sex with no emotional attachment. I can't win.

Oddly, I dislike people in general, like overall humanity, but when I meet people in person I’m genuinely optimistic and look at it as a positive thing unless the person is a real weirdo.

Well I definitely get along with almost everyone. I’m more so talking about like enjoying someone’s company like you’d get a beer with them or whatever.

Yes bc I’m vv selective in meeting new ppl. My circle is small and I like it that way.
In terms of meeting new ppl at social functions and what not - I don’t mind meeting new ppl / being introduced to someone, but I don’t try to ‘get to know’ everyone I meet if that makes any sense.
I despise small talk though. That shite drives me bonkers. The world is too peopley for me most days.

I’m a weird person. The older I get, the more I see it in myself.
I don’t flat out hate most people, but most people I meet and interact with, I would rather just avoid all together if I could. I don’t know why, but other people I meet I just seem to have a connection to them.
Yes, I’m pretty sure I have a touch of Asperger’s.

In general yes, but I also don't deal with "the public" very often. Most of the time when I'm dealing with people, it's when I'm doing something that I enjoy, so I'm more prone to liking them.

Ah, well if that's the case I guess I like about 50% of the folks I meet. Unless somebody is a total prick I'm not going to show it, though. If somebody is kind and means well I'm not gonna be an arse to them just because they might be annoying. Hell, I'm going hunting with some folks this weekend who annoy the hell out of me. They're good people, though.

This is true for me also. Keep it small. Keep it simple. Less conflict. Less obligations.
I used to think that I need more friends but the older I get the more I realize it’s just more work.

I used to be like this. Now I just try to have pleasant interactions with people and move on. I don’t need to evaluate whether I like them or not. But if something shines through with someone, then great. I’m not necessarily looking for friends throughout the day though. FWIW
