The Best Western is Australian...Man from Snowy River (1982)

It's a tie between The Man From Snowy River and Quigley Down Under.

Both are epic.

The Return to Snowy River is a close second.

It’s a classic and a staple in my home. My daughter is crazy about horses. We watch the original and sequel frequently.

Tom Burlinson was a classically trained stage performer and crooner. He took riding lessons and became an expert horseman in the long run. All around talented baw. He did a lot of his own stunts on the films. The original was the highest grossing Australian film at the time.

The best Western from Australia is Mad Max.

Theres a dozen good brood mares in there, I'll be back for them....

And whatever else is mine.

Its very good, my second favorite western was filmed in Spain. Tombstone still
holds the cake
