re: Trying to be a better person. Is there something out there to help me? - bearcat78 on 12/11/13 at 11:26 pm
For a start, look up your nearest Church of Christ and begin attending their services, including Sunday and midweek Bible Study. They will teach it as it is written. It is the only book that has a can't fail guidelines for a purposeful living. You will find that the members are not perfect, but as they ge...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: How often do you have a "What the hell is life?" moment? - bearcat78 on 12/10/13 at 2:10 am
So many miss the point about having an abundant life.to be happy most of the time one must continually be building up or helping some person to live a good life.It is all about helping and being a source of esteeming others above self..It is more easily to be loved when one is a giver than a taker....Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: Pit bull bites off owner's arms - bearcat78 on 11/12/13 at 10:13 pm
Many dog owners either don't know or don't care about DNA or pedigree of dogs viciousness, temperament, tracking ability and many other traits are common to certain breeds.Sad as it is it is obvious that some(not all) are low life and don't care what their vicious dogs might do and casts a bad image f...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: Pit bull bites off owner's arms - bearcat78 on 11/12/13 at 8:51 pm
As a young kid I had to take milk to my widowed aunt and in doing had to pass by a household who kept.a Bulldog (some) Pit that would attack in the road, therefore I had to take A half mile detour through the woods to bypass this house.T!he owner knew the viciousness of his dog and everyone in the...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: Better dog for a pet - lab or boxer? - bearcat78 on 11/10/13 at 1:41 pm
Have relatives that have owned both.In my opinion both are too large for house dogs. Get a Corgie,Bassett Hound or if you like. a little more hyper get a Jack Russell terrier or another of the Terrier breeds. Larger breeds are more suited for outdoors and it is cruel to restrict them to the inside 2...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)

re: Let's talk obedience training... - bearcat78 on 10/24/13 at 7:30 pm
Some OPs don't need to own dogs. Many dogs are more intelligent than their owners. If you plan to own a dog make sure that you are an adult thinking person with a ton of patience.Secondly, try to love the dog at least a fraction of as much as your dog will love you if you treat it kindly....Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)

re: Is it legal to ask someone to change their appearance or you won't hire them? - bearcat78 on 10/13/13 at 9:10 pm
This seems simple, but in fact it is not.If this is a very productive employee with a good attitude,he may need suggestions prior to considering him for advancement. Suttle suggestions to him and how he responds will let one know much about what to expect from him....Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: How do you tell your wife/SO she's gaining weight? - bearcat78 on 10/6/13 at 9:51 pm
You who drink and especially those who have children are very short sighted. It is a very expensive habit that brings nothing to a marriage/relationship. Stop now so that you will not have to say that you are sorry down the road of life.I am an old man and have NEVER seen good come from the consumpti...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
