Defensive Tackle Stats
Posted by Alumni80 on 10/12/15 at 10:56 am
Thru 5 games:
Godchaux 6-solos, 5-tackles for loss (21 yds) and 3 sacks (17yds)
Lacouture 1-solo, 0-tackles for loss, and 0 sacks
I watch #91 on almost every snap and I just don't see what is keeping him at starter over Gilmore, Herron, or Thomas.
Godchaux and Gilmore should be starters....
re: Jennings Should Play the Entire 2nd Half
Posted by Alumni80 on 9/29/15 at 9:03 am
Jennings can get his reps in practice, Harris is the QB every play until we win The National Championship. then we can give Jennings a series or two. Don't rock this boat!!!...

The whole frickin offense, against Auburn defense if the moose was loose....
Turn The Moose Loose
Posted by Alumni80 on 9/25/15 at 4:50 pm
If LSU gets an early lead instead of throttling back, Les needs to turn Harris, Dupree, Quinn, Diarse, Guice loose tomorrow just to give the nation a glimpse of how good this team is! Geaux Tigers !!...
re: Has Jennings played at all this year?
Posted by Alumni80 on 9/22/15 at 2:08 pm
Why, do you lot the perfectly tight spirals Harris throws and the perfectly executed zone reads he runs. And the fact that we have a legitimate shot at a national championship with Harris under center. Let a resting dog lie !!!...
re: The constructive criticism thread: Areas for improvement still
Posted by Alumni80 on 9/20/15 at 11:45 am
I think Gilmore or Herron could be pushing for starting over#91, Lacouture. I watch #91 on every play and I do not see him wreaky havoc like a DT needs to do....
re: LSU vs. Bama replay on SEC network now..

Yeah it was the problem, why put in your second string back and leave Fournette on the bench if your goal is to score a touchdown and beat Alabama. I bet Nick Saban was shocked to look accross the field on 1st down and see LF standing next to Miles. Miles gave it away....
re: Grave mistake at the end of last year's Bama game?
Posted by Alumni80 on 8/5/15 at 1:54 pm
The grave mistake was when we had the ball first and goal from 6 yd line, Miles decided to put Terrance MaGee in the backfeild (I could not believe what I was seeing) and not our best running back Leonard Fournette, of course MaGee got bulldozed, tried to scuffle for extra yds and the penalty. Fourn...

Yeah, tell me why when LSU recovered a fumble on the 6 yd line with 73 seconds left, with a golden opportunity to go ahead and win, was Leonard Fournette on the sidelines on 1st down....
re: What question would you ask Les?
Posted by Alumni80 on 7/16/15 at 9:25 pm
Why when Alabama fumbled on their own 6 yd line with 73 seconds left did he decide on 1st down that Leonard Fournette should be on sidelines with Terrance MaGee on the field. Why? Why? I thought I was seeing things!! Fournette gets the ball in this situation!!!...
re: Brandon Pierce of the LSU golf team needs prayers

re: Who was on the second string secondary in the spring game?

Who was #39?...
re: Les Miles Runs the Ball In That Situation
Posted by Alumni80 on 2/2/15 at 8:20 am
The only problem Miles would have the wrong running back, like he did against Bama, first and goal from the 6, he runs the ball, only problem the person (Fournette) who should have been running the ball was standing next to Miles on the sidelines and watching MaGee get stuffed....
re: Starting Defensive Line?
Posted by Alumni80 on 1/18/15 at 7:14 am
Don't see all the love for Lacouture, I watch him on every play, no big sacks or anything, 3 star out of Nebraska, why does everyone pencil him in....
re: It's not the QB! it's the coaching!
Posted by Alumni80 on 1/13/15 at 8:52 am
Yeah, you remember in 2012 with BAMA at Tiger Stadium and on the ropes, LSU 4th and 1 at the BAMA 31, chance to go up by 10, and our coach(Miles) puts, Mettenberger, Beckham, Jarvis, Hill, Shepard, Ford, and Blue on the sidelines, and puts in Spencer Ware to run a Ware Cat sneak. BAMA stuffs the pla...
re: How does Urban Meyer get away with his last drive vs. Alabama but not Les Miles?
Posted by Alumni80 on 1/2/15 at 11:16 am
He admitted his mistake, owned the responsibility of it, Miles would have rambled on with some ridiculous excuse that makes no sense at all....
re: SEC west champions or bust next year?
Posted by Alumni80 on 1/2/15 at 11:11 am
All the talent in the world, coaching and playing the wrong players at certain positions will cost you 2-3 losses and probably back to Gator or Chic A Fil Bowl....
re: The first thing this staff needs to do...
Posted by Alumni80 on 1/1/15 at 8:48 pm
They leave because they know Nick will get them to games like this while Les gets them to Music City Bowl....
re: LSU needs a pass rush!
Posted by Alumni80 on 12/31/14 at 10:33 am
You have Frank Herron - 5 star defensive linemen in Miles doghouse riding the bench because he stole a bike....
re: The Les Miles Statue
Posted by Alumni80 on 12/19/14 at 9:54 am
If he loses to BAMA next year that makes 5 in a row, 7 out of 9, can't imagine putting up a statue for this....
