We need to get him some reps in case something happens to Harris. Also, if he balls out then it will motivate Harris more to keep his job.

No. Harris should throw the ball 40 times this game.

I understand your point but our 2015 starting QB needs the experience as well. If it's a true route early on then give Jennings a couple of series in the 4th.

he does need practice, but the starter isn't all that impressive yet. Starter needs as many reps as possible too.

He got all the reps lat year... We need to worry about Harris getting reps.

I'm normally a big advocate for the backup getting meaningful snaps, but not in this case.

1. Harris still needs reps
2. Jennings had plenty of reps last year

I don't understand the virulence of the first two replies. The OP has good points. You could add we want to reduce the chance of Harris getting injured. On the other hand, Harris is inexperienced and the more reps, the better. However, he definitely needs to come out once we're just handing off to backup backs and showing mercy with the scoring.

It doesn't make any sense to keep our starting O Line in the entire game so the QB can get reps. Need to let all the back ups get in this game.

Lets give mcmillian some reps if we gonna bring in a backup. Nobody wants to see jennings!

My only regret is that I have but 1 down vote to give.

Seriously man, Jennings played all last year. He was turrible at it, now we have a new QB. Get over it.
