Gas station hamburgers and Cafe Opera are pretty much your only options. The burgers aren't too bad and Cafe Opera can be hit or miss, depending on what's cooked that day.
I'd suggest taking Hwy 182 into Opelousas and going to Pearl's for a plate lunch....
