Just picked it up on blu-ray today and I have to say that it is a damn good movie. IMO solid cast and good story all around. It has its good action sequences and its humor. Definitely one of the more enjoyable sci/fi films I have seen in a while. The pilot, Alan Tudyk, is definitely my favorite character "I am a leaf on the wind."

caught a few episodes but wasnt a big watcher. If you were a fan of Firefly was the movie disappointing?

It's a good end to a good series. If you liked the movie you should do yourself a favor and watch the TV show.
