You don't need to see a general dentist, you need to call an oral surgeon. I'd suggest that you call as many as you can and see who can get you in first. Best of luck for such a tough thing...

Don't know where you heard that story because Mauck was initially supposed to be a part of my class at LSU Dental School, I saw his name on the roster. I also saw his name on the roster the subsequent year as well. I have no idea what happened, but his name was on the roster of students...
