re: Is There Any Scenario In Which Tua Wins The Job? - JB Bama
As someone who's been to both scrimmages. Just stop. Jalen is improving and we went 14-1 with him. He looks improved against a live defense and Tua looks great for a true freshman but he's got a long way to go to catch Jalen. ...

re: Roundtable: Most overvalued SEC team by the FPI - JB Bama
Funny, I've always thought Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Oklahoma St, Baylor, West Virginia, TCU, have all had successful QBs because they play against shite defenses all year, rather than them all recruiting great QBs every year. It's weird too because of all those elite QBs you don't see them lightin...

re: Roundtable: Most overvalued SEC team by the FPI - JB Bama
It's funny because when Stidham was with Baylor most people would expect him to get chewed up and spit out by the elite SEC defenses, but now that he transferred to Auburn people expect him to light up these same elite defenses. What Baylor QB in the last 5 years has sucked against Big 12 defense...

re: Tua showing out in scrimmage! - JB Bama
A significant amount of Hurts plays were intermediate to deep throws. I don't think it's a good idea to publicly give a lot of details about a closed practice but say goodbye to those jet sweeps I think they ran one. Third string qb has a long slow delivery kinda defeats the point of throwing go...

re: Tua showing out in scrimmage! - JB Bama
Tua looked okay but pump the brakes on him pushing Jalen. He was slow making a lot of reads and delivered balls late. Jalen looked much improved, was going through progressions even though our Oline was getting worked. (Pretty sad when you get a strip sack on a non-contact QB). Improved Passi...

re: Dustin Johnson might be out of Master's - JB Bama
Not sure? The guy hurt his lower back. The course is cold and windy so it's not to his normal advantage. Spieth should have been the favorite all along. I think the 2 possible outcomes now are he withdraws or he doesn't make the cut....

re: Do any parents out there wish they didn't have kids? - JB Bama
What's going to be great is when your 55 and you've had all these great life experiences and you get to keep spending all the holidays alone with your wife, until she passes away and then you get to spend them alone by yourself and you've got no support system when your wife dies at 61 and you get d...

re: Is Alabama even remotely concerned about Washington? - JB Bama
Jalen screwed up vs. Florida it cost us a couple field goals. Have people forgotten we have one of the top all-time college defenses? We don't give up many points....

re: Spin off: Does anybody listen to Clay Travis - JB Bama
I'm a Rico Rider and he steals ALL of his picks from rico and then Rico calls him out for it and he tries to play it off. Dude is a pussy for that alone and I don't respect him.
If he's just reposting Rico's plays then do you mind throwing a link to Rico's bowl picks? For ...

re: Is Alabama even remotely concerned about Washington? - JB Bama
"Peterson will have them ready" Is he going to recruit a new Oline because if not it doesn't matter what he schemes his QB will be running for his life and on the ground a lot. Bama's D will force turnovers, dominate between the tackles and Washington will be forced to quick throws if they w...

re: Spin off: Does anybody listen to Clay Travis - JB Bama
Everyone calls him a troll but who's a better option? He's far and away the best and strongest opinion in the sports world. I don't agree with all his takes, but at least he states where his opinions come from. Not to mention the guy's picks ATS are 59% the last 2 years, free and easily veri...

re: When Married Couples Build A House One Of Two Things Will Happen - JB Bama
We built a house over a year ago and now we've got a baby pretty sure they are completely unrelated. Unless you are referring to us building a bigger house so we could have a bigger family. I've been with my wife for 15 years and the most stressed we've ever been was during construction of the...

re: The answer is an 8 team playoff set up this way - JB Bama
l your post does is show how conferences complicate everything there is no need to have them in college football
I'm offering a realistic solution, there's too much money tied into the conferences and the bowls to get rid of them or else we wouldn't have the big 6 anymore since ...

re: The answer is an 8 team playoff set up this way - JB Bama
Break up the big 12 5 conferences doesn't work. 4 conferences of 16 (64) no divisions 9 conference games 2 OOC power 4 matchups (required) 1 non-power 4 game 2 bye weeks no conference championships Co-champs if no head to head and same format as regular season for basketball. 9 team pla...

re: So much in coaching legacies lay in the balance for this CFP - JB Bama
If Meyer beats Saban, Saban has a heart attack, leaves Alabama and goes to Oregon I could believe your argument. Otherwise I think it's pretty safe to say Saban > Meyer since he literally ran his arse out of the SEC....
