There are countless to choose from and I'm certain most are similar but that some as well are better than others.

Not looking for the taj mahal but anyone with great results on one that can be recommended?

Taj Mahal:
Thermapen One Some colors on sale for $75 right now

Step down, but same company
Thermopop 2

Javelin - $25 Thermapen knockoff that works well and lasts

I started with this thermometer and used it for years. I gifted it to a friend and bought a thermapen one. Both a great, but the Thermapen is faster and more accurate.

I love my Thermapen. It’s so fast and easy I even use it when microwaving leftovers. Spend the $ and don’t look back. They go on sale a few times a year it seems.

Don’t use my Thermopop anymore.

There are several good ones out there now but none that can unseat the champ. Thermapen is such a great product.

Great!

Pro-tip, cook chicken breasts to 150 degrees. It's safe and significantly more flavorful and juicy. People will rave about your chicken no matter how its prepared if only cooked to 150.

Thermapen One from Thermoworks is head and shoulders above any other on the market. I use it daily.

Yup…. Thermapen.

Anything from thermoworks is great. Heads up though.. you can only buy direct from them though. Customer service is pretty good too.

How do you determine the more accurate part? Boiling water?
