Is it strange that I sometimes like overcast/gloomy weather?

After the last 5 months of 100 degrees and no rain I’m enjoying the hell out of days like today

I like a rainy day on a good college football Saturday. I usually feel guilty sitting on the couch all day when the suns out, but it gives me an excuse. Lol.

Not at all. I prefer days like this except about 35-40 degrees instead. Add in some light rain and you’ve got one hell of an opportunity for a 24 hour long fire in the fireplace with the kids making s’mores, the wife in her pj’s and comfy socks next to me on the sofa, and football all day long. Add in a pot of gumbo slow cooking on the stove or maybe a good soup and it’s perfection.

Yeah, inside passage. Northern part. I dont mind the rain, its more of a mist or drizzle most of the time.

My seasonal depression comes in August. I love cool dreary weather. Kind of forces you to slow down. Then there’s also chili and various soups.
