I have never been for a practice round but I have been a few times on Sunday. I know everyone has different opinions but I completely disagree with you. Yes, you don’t get to see every shot but hearing the roars around the course as you are following the final few groups and then the anticipation ...

Yeah, when you leave the shop they have a checked bag area. They also can ship the stuff you just bought as well at the same place you check your bag.
Anything you can think to make a tournament efficient and smooth, Augusta National does it. This includes having attendants in every bathroom to...
re: Question for the driver aficionados

I agree with you completely. I know it won’t make me much better if at all.
I’m just wondering how much difference do the year to year changes make. Hypothetically, if I get quick and slice my current driver I will be 10 yards off the fairway but with a new driver will I be 8 yards off the fa...
Question for the driver aficionados
Posted by kfont28 on 3/17/24 at 8:16 am
With most major brands coming out every year with a new set of drivers, how much year over year improvement is there?
For example, my current driver is the Cobra Radspeed which came out about 3 or 4 years ago. If I switched to a 2024 released driver, how much actual improvement would I see?

re: Ball Rollback For All - USGA/R&A

Yes, there a few rogue companies that have none confirming balls with the current rules. But look at others on this thread who hate this roll back. The market for non roll backed balls will be huge. Companies like turning profits and have spent millions on developing the best ball they can. so I...

I enjoy watching professional golf the way it is but if the heads of the usga and r&a are adamant about this then they need to keep it just for the pros.
In baseball only pros use wooden bats while amateurs are very happy with their metal bats...

I get doing this for tour players but for the average amateur this is stupid.
What’s stopping companies like Vice or Snell from saying nope we ain’t changing anything. I play once a month and want to enjoy myself as much as possible. I would buy non rollbacked balls...
