This one is way too easy, and the first reply answered it correctly.

The first answer is chalk but I would say don’t invade Iraq. Also, I don’t know if things would necessarily be better but the world would be way different if the Central Powers won WW1. There might be no communism and no Islamic terrorism.

Not vote in LBJ.. I think without the liberal mind set back then and even more so the modern day white democrat, black people would be in a way better position.

A more serious answer from me would be allowing countries in the Middle East to draw their own lines instead of rich assholes after WWI.

Ride straight through Europe into Russia on their western front and hammer them from the air and sea on the east. Stamp out communism right then and there. Destroy the Bolsheviks

Going back much farther, I'd wonder if the indigenous tribes of the Americas could have accomplished something if they had brought the concept of the wheel with them from Asia. And the concepts of advances in metal working.

Election of 1912.

Putting Woodrow Wilson in the White House was a bigger disaster than anyone wants to admit since he pushed Jim Crow and fricked a lot of foreign policy through his presence at the Treaty of Versailles negotiations.

TR winning a non-consecutive term or Taft winning would have changed the landscape as WWI started spinning up two years later.

Other than the low hanging fruit of preventing the Atlantic slave trade...

I'll say not attempting to permanently cripple Germany in the Treaty of Versailles. Allowing them to keep their national dignity would have gone a long way to prevent most of the calamity that followed for the rest of the 20th century.

Mr. Turf said Don't assassinate McKinley. And that would have prevented Wilson.

If it wasn’t Vietnam itself, it probably would have been some other backwater like Laos, which had been Ike’s focus over Vietnam.

Other than slavery, I'd point at Bush v. Gore. Yeah, I hoped Bush would win that election myself, but this country would be much better off had Gore won. There's no way all his wind farms and whatnot would have cost what Dubya's orgy of misdirected hostility cost. That guy was and is a tool of evil.

In the US:

1) No slavery
2) Only those who work and pay taxes can vote.
3) Legalize everything..drugs and prostitution
4) Legal to drink at 18
