re: Jimbo and Herman Pros and Cons - LsuNav
If we hire Herman and he leaves for the NFL, that just tells me we made a badass hire. At that point, he will obviously have the program back and we can again go get anyone we want AND it won't be something that made LSU look bad like firing a coach.
We had a coach that left for th...

re: Looking for excuses: Did the Baton Rouge tragedies kill the team's spirit? - LsuNav
I want change too. Les has never been a great coach but the team doesn't seem that interested. The 2011 team had great emotion until the championship game then the air seems to have slowly let out of the program since....

Looking for excuses: Did the Baton Rouge tragedies kill the team's spirit? - LsuNav
This team doesn't play with anyone emotion. Could they collective PTSD from Sterling, the police shootings and the flooding? Fournette doesn't look excited, Miles doesn't look like a guy fighting for his job and there is no energy on the sideline. Something needs to change....

re: New Netflix show: ARQ - LsuNav
It wasn't bad. I've seen much more compelling time loop movies. I wikapediaed the plot, skipped some of the movie then watched the end. I do applaud Netflix for producing original content. That company may actually have a time machine as they always seem to be one step ahead of the rest of the...

re: After listening to Miles on his weekly show last night LSU is screwed. - LsuNav
There are many people joining the "fire Les" movement. He was never a great coach but he did bring some excellent talent here. It wasn't long ago that Alabama fans were just as worried as we were about our annual game. I don't know if Les ever recovered from Jefferson/Lee. Having bad quarterback...

Has LSU's Golden Age changed the way you feel about college football - LsuNav
Has our success changed college football for you? It certainly has for me. I went To LSU in the 80's. Risher, Wickersham and Hilliard were names I remember from those years. We had ok teams and decent teams that were at times exciting. I can't say that I ever thought we were a national champi...

re: Why can't DC get it right? Is it because Marvel's success is in their heads? - LsuNav
Is Suicide Squad really that bad? I haven't seen it yet but I don't know single person IRL who saw it and liked it.
Suicide Squad wasn't a great movie but it wasn't bad. Civil War wasn't that good a movie either. DC can get back on track if the next movie is better....

re: Why did Star Trek flop? - LsuNav
This isn't really Star Trek. I did watched the film and it was meh. I have no loyalty to these movies. The actors are good enough but it isn't the same without the real characters. ...

re: *OFFICIAL* Preacher season long thread - LsuNav
I've fallen asleep in the last two episodes. I'm done with Preacher
I fell asleep towards the end of the last episode but that was in me. The show is interesting. I like the Old West flashbacks but I'll tolerate Tulip and Cassidy to see where the story goes. This is certainl...

re: GoT S6: E10 "The Winds of Winter" BOOK READERS - LsuNav
Mis-translations confuse the two when it comes to "morning star" but there is only one "light bearer/bringer" and that's Lucifer. "Morning star" has never been equated with or translates to Lucifer.
No mid-translation. Venus is morning star which is also the light bringer; however...

re: GoT S6: E10 "The Winds of Winter" BOOK READERS - LsuNav
I don't know, but the Lightbringer origin story alone should clue people into the fact that there is something profoundly evil about that religion. That, and the fact that Light bringer/bearer in Latin is "Lucifer."
Jesus and Satan are both referred to as "The Morning Star". ...
