This clown had to update his piece as of 1010 PM PDT March 30 (0010 CDT March 31) because “it didn’t meet Times editorial standards”

Can someone please provide a link…I didn't have the capablity to do so from my Ipad.

Douchebag completely rewrote the article. Saw on X where lawsuits were threatened to him, the LA TIMES and the UCLA head coach for their part. A late night rewrite. fricking clowns.

I think we all knew it was changed after Mulkey didn't just roll over and take it like the state run media is used to.

Ironic it magically now does not meet their standards when they willingly published it until blowback happened.

This is what is wrong with society. Do something awful and willingly, and when you get called out on it, claim it doesn’t meet your standard and try to act like it never happened or was approved.

Litigation should be taken against both the reporter and the paper.

The cat is out of the bag. The damage was done. It’s too late. Time to pay. The LSU Women’s basketball team was maligned and degraded sexually. There is a cause of action. The entire team needs to be paid for permanent damage to their reputation.

Referring to a team of predominantly black young women as villains and dirty debutantes sounds a bit racist to me.

Rewriting a preview of a game AFTER the game? How fricking embarrassing. What a clown world we live in.

Sexist for sure. Racist is a stretch. Certainly ‘not nice’!

Kim is asserting some influence. Quite frankly, I’m blown away by the support she’s receiving and the ripple it’s having.

“Editorial standards?” Where were the editors beforehand? Oh that’s right, newspapers don’t have editors anymore.

Referring to some 18-22 year old college athletes as ‘dirty debutantes’, which apparently is a porn flick or something to that effect, should be a fireable offense, especially in today’s times.

Oh wow, what a piece of crap he is. This article is nowhere close to the original article. He got scared and changed it dramatically and added a bunch of other fluff stuff about "milk and cookies" UCLA. Nothing in there about "dirty debutantes" or "evil" or the other character-shaming words about LSU ladies. A journalist doesn't totally change an article, he stands by what he wrote. They know he did wrong, and the LA Times made him change it. Hope Kim's lawyers go after him and the LA Times. Someone has to go after him for character assassination of teenagers/young ladies. Kim was so ticked off, I expect there will be a defamation lawsuit coming soon. If not Kim, then the AD, LSU and the university will need to step up and protect its athletes.

Most of these papers dumped real, experienced editors years ago because it actually costs money to compensate someone with, experience, editorial skills and journalistic integrity - all things that were once valued in the media industry and sadly are no longer valued.

So they either allow peer editorial oversight, which is basically having one of your workmates look it over - or the use some form of editing program like Grammarly to check for grammatical errors.

This. The Democrats’ media lapdogs are used to being able to throw shite against the wall without being questioned. They really don’t care if any sticks or not.

Typical bully behavior. The reporter is probably in a safe space sucking his thumb. Or something else.
