re: My Guess On The Zion Injury

Thanks. I typed it fast after trying to rewatch the injury on tv. It’s nearly impossible to tell. His gait is already awkward. This has to be one weirdest and oddly timed injuries I think I have ever seen. I really just hope it’s not something that he would need repair on (other than a meniscus)....

My Guess On The Zion Injury

Posted by CajunMD on 4/16/24 at 10:23 pm
It doesn’t appear to be a serious knee injury from what I can tell in the short clips. I would fear an MCL or LCL grade two type. Or an injury to the meniscus would be my best bet. ACL would be my biggest fear of course, but I just can’t see where that would have happened. It looks more to me as ...

My take on Ingram's injury.

You first have to understand the anatomy and biomechanics of a great toe and how much of an impact it makes in an athlete's first step/jump off. Ingram has a grade 2 MTP sprain (Turf toe). This is a sprain of the first MTP joint caused by forced hyperextension of the great toe as it strikes the grou...
He will eventually pay for it in around mid 30’s, maybe a little later. That’s a guess... doesn’t mean it will happen. But that’s what I think. Everyone has and will get it, including us....
No man.. that dude can be a douche.. I would have loved to argue many of his points. But I did and still do find him very informative. However, I think Twitter best fits his personality....

I’ll leave it at that. Have had a lot of experience with sports as a player and physician. And congrats with...
Sorry, we don’t carry urethral swabs that small. Try the health unit! ...
You can find most of this information online within the next 24 hours when it becomes available. Didn’t mention a name or any other info compared to what you would hear on NBA TV....
I would consider myself more of a medical insider especially when associated with Ochsner. I have a few tidbits from time to time also....
Please refer to my initial post before asking medical questions....
Pretty sure I am the only person on this board that even mentioned the word surgery.. and called his timeline for injury. Be respectful and I will post whatever I can when I can. Section REMOVED for the HIPPAcrites.. As I stated, the injury has been a lingering issue. Not sure if the Spurs ga...
While I constantly held back from posting to prevent the “bashing”, I’ll post on this topic. This is an issue Zion has been dealing with for quite some time. Not sure when the initial injury occurred(could have been college or recently). Yes, as rumors say, it’s a meniscus. It’s a torn lateral me...

He’s not cheap if you do a one on one deal. Despite Love’s contract, he also wouldn’t be cheap with a one on one. You have to get a third team involved. IMO it isn’t worth it if you can’t. Both will involve cap relief (absorbing griff, love, or even Myles turner contract) future picks, 2 suitable pl...

I don’t think so. This team will sell tickets with Zion alone. I think one of the real reasons I keep hearing Blake Griffin is because he could be had for fairly cheap, he’s still effective, and he’s a popular name. But being had for cheap generally means a three team trade....

Screw Crewz. Actually I was always into writing, not so much blogging. But I recently published an article in PubMed about Testoserone replacement therapies using the female fertility drug Clomid, if your interested in really reading some solid work (:...
