His posts were in two separate threads.

They consisted of:

"Yall gonna slow your roll when they announce the injury?"

They announced the injury about 3 hours later and he promptly posted within minutes:

"torn meniscus"

And a 3rd post stating he is no longer a cabbie, drives for Uber Black and indicates thats how he got the scoop

Yeah I already found it.

Why do y’all assume he actually knew anything? When it comes to knee injuries that aren’t obvious like an ACL or MCL, a meniscus issue would probably be at the top of the list for a basketball player.

He probably just guessed with pessimistic confidence.

He's joking about being a cabbie and driving for Uber.

That isn't what he does, its a troll.

He knew. How he knew is the question but he found out.

This board likes to believe we have many insiders. Some will even believe this CajunMD guy.

I would consider myself more of a medical insider especially when associated with Ochsner. I have a few tidbits from time to time also.

I'll have to check tomorrow to see who has access to Zion's chart and who they've sent it to.

Isn’t disclosing the health of a patient without their consent a violation of doctor/patient confidentiality laws or HIPAA policies?

You can find most of this information online within the next 24 hours when it becomes available. Didn’t mention a name or any other info compared to what you would hear on NBA TV.

I disagree completely. If a basketball player has a knee injury and isn’t just day to day, a meniscus issue is just about the most obvious injury you could assume.

If someone wanted to be a troll, they could come in the thread and just post “meniscus tear” to piss people off because it’s a worst case scenario type of a post.

And apparently that guy is a troll, so it’s not out of the realm of possibility that he was being a troll and just happened to be right.

We didn't even know he had a knee injury. He posted it.

The Pelicans announced knee soreness and nothing else later. Within minutes he posted "torn meniscus".

He knew
