How would I fare not speaking English? Cuba is super tempting.

I would love to drink a mojito in Cuba. Is Cuba budget friendly though?

I think it is. Avoid the tourist traps, stay in Airbnbs... more money for rum and cigars. And the women. My only concern is getting off the beaten path and not speaking Spanish.

google translate will help if the cell service is there, but I think it isn't adequate.

$1,500 and 7 days?

How about Jamaica, Aruba, Honduras, & Belize.

Less than $1,500 including transportation, lodging, food, etc

Just ride around on a big arse boat to multiple countries, meet a shitload of people in close proximity (thousands to choose from), 24 hour entertainment, etc.

Chicago is still go to spot to recharge (can still be social, but also keep to myself), even though I live in TX.

It's a great summer city, but love going in fall/spring too.

Denver is a nice option as well.

Man, you're missing the obvious destination:

You can stay in a beautiful room and it's also a stone's throw to all the Taco Bowls you want!!

Seattle, Paris, Amsterdam, or Thailand.

Whichever has the cheapest flight, probably Seattle.

My sister was a flight attendant and would go to Paris regularly, she'd find places for under $70/ night on Airbnb. Single guys can stay almost in any place to sleep.

I'll throw San Diego out there...a very chill area with lots to do and hits on all of your major points. Good luck!

Toronto is a great spot to get away. Can get a cheap plane ticket into Buffalo and see Niagara Falls (definitely something everyone should see) plus there are a bunch of casinos in Niagara, and only about an hour drive to Toronto. Been there a few times and met a lot of pretty women who like to party.

To the op- $1500, including airfare and lodging might be tough. If you plan on going to any city, i.e. Chicago, San Diego, Denver a decent room in a desirable area is going to kill you. You can find a motel 6 or something but then you'll be in the suburbs or outskirts. Going to bars to meet women won't be cheap in almost any place where the women are somewhat desirable.

Budget notwithstanding, I'd recommend Chicago. The flight should be dirt cheap. The women there are surprisingly amazing. Tons of things to see and do during the daytime, and they have a great bar scene. Fittingly, you're not interested in hiking or clubbing, which is good because Chicago isn't the place for either activity.

Seattle is a beautiful city as well, somewhat similar to Chicago, although Seattle would be a bit more expensive and I felt in Chicago almost all the desirable destinations were centralized and easier to get around by foot.

I would take a 7 day NCL cruise out of New Orleans. Good food and nightlife. Bars, beaches and no shortage of bikini clad young ladies to rebound with. It is just the thing you need.

I like to travel alone a good bit and Colorado is one of my favorite places to go. Fly into Denver and spend a few days around there checking out LoDo, Rockies baseball game, Denver zoo, etc.

get a car and drive up to Steamboat where you can do some horseback riding, catch a pro rodeo, mountain biking, take a guided fly fishing trip, etc.

I haven't abandoned anything, Jack. The floor is still open for suggestions, and I'll do an update when I decide what to do and after I go.

The suggestions in this thread have been terrific, folks. Been working so much, haven't time to make a decision.
