Sitting here in the airport wondering if the extra leg room is worth 150 bucks

Depends on how long the flight is and how long your legs are, I suppose.

If you're on an A320, yes it's worth it. At 30" seat pitch, I don't fit in their economy seats anymore at 6' 2". They wanted $90 for first class and $75 for an exit row. I should've taken the first class seat...

I feel that way about American and Delta as well. I fly about 100 segments a year with united and don't have any issues that I don't have on the other majors.

It's their problem resolution and customer service (or lack therof) that pissed me off the most.

It was so bad that flying 5.5 hours from Hawaii on a plane with less room than the planes I fly to Orlando on with Southwest, no seatback entertainment and no wifi was no big deal.
