Flying in and out of Chicago for the LSU game Labor Day weekend. Was planning on renting a car, however, a friend of mine is going to be driving through and offered to pick me up in Chicago. Only problem is that he's going home Sunday, and I plan on going to the game in Milwaukee on Monday. My flight out of Chicago leaves Tuesday morning at 6:00 AM. If I get him to drop me off in Milwaukee Sunday, what's the cheapest way to get to Chicago after the game Monday night (assuming leaving around 5 or 6 Monday night)?

The hell do I look like to you? An uber driver?

But really, Amtrak should be able to get you there.

There is a bus that takes you right from Milwaukee to O' Hara's front door. It's cheaper than Amtrak.

Amtrak or megabus

ETA either will require an uber to get to ORD

There are a ton of hotels in Rosemonth/ORD to stay at.

It's not difficult to get from Milwaukee to Chicago.

You can take the Amtrak to Union Station and hop an Uber, Blue Line to O'Hare, or Orange Line to Midway. Caution with the Orange Line as it does not run 24 hours like the Red and Blue Lines.

Outside of that, you can take Megabus to Union Station and do the same thing or take Van Galder directly to O'Hare (assuming you aren't flying out of Midway).

Doing the Cubs game at 2:30 Friday then heading to Green Bay. In short, does Union Station rent lockers for my bags while I'm at the game. If so, I will take Amtrak. If not, its car rental time. (I would have rented one in Milwaukee if using the train). The train would be nice as I can only imagine traffic at rush hour on a holiday weekend while leaving Wrigley will be insane. Any info would be appreciated, especially back road directions from Wrigley in case we drive.

Definitely suggest the train.

There isn't much of a good route to get out of the city on a Friday, but let me know if you end up driving and I can try...

If you can suggest a route, I would appreciate it. I was told to go Lakeshore Drive towards Northwestern in Evanston and then hit I94. Your thoughts.
