school me about displays though

why does a screen so small need so many pixels?

i'm not holding my phone an inch from my face, so 300 pixels per inch should be plenty enough right?

whats the huge draw of the quadHD displays? I just don't get it

Just switched from an iPhone 5 to LG G3 and will never go back. Love being able to swap batteries, will be awesome for long trips when I want to watch movies, etc. The batteries are only $30 on Amazon.

you could have bought a lipstick USB charger that would charge your battery twice for less than 30 bucks, which is inconvenient, but so is carrying around an extra battery

i'm not arguing apple vs. android....i'm just saying I would go the USB route before buying a spare battery

the usb battery has other uses

Hey, I have an idea.

Why don't a lot of you guys stop caring so much what other people like and stop worrying so much about why they should or shouldn't like it?

We all good?

sounds great.

Rather than compromising by making cheap products, which is how Android has it's market share (selling cheap phones to retards), Apple is keeping older models in production and putting them in price point competition with cheap Android phones. That's why Android is suddenly losing market share.

Oh my. :lol!

Their user base certainly appears to have some slight mental handicaps. It's kinda sad really

iPhone 6 doesn't even have 1080p display when all of its competitors do. Still at 720p

Not too big of a Boom because I knew anyone that took the time and was motivated could reach back a few years and find those but I posted it anyway because I really didn't care if someone did.

Those posts were years ago you will notice. As someone that used to be pretty passionate about this stuff, I eventually realized how completely retarded it was to care what someone else liked or used. A bunch of you should take the same journey.

This is true though. 60 million Macs being used. 600 million iOS devices being used. I don't think those 60 million mac owners each have 10 iOS devices.

I bought the iPhone 5 the day it came out. Have used it since, almost a year and a half, and will sell it next week for exactly what I paid for it including tax.

The phone came out 2 years ago, not 1.5. But you're most definitely not selling it for what it cost two years ago. You very well may be selling it for the subsidized price you paid for it, but don't confuse that with the product depreciating as much as it has.

Try doing that with any of those shitty android phones.

Well, the iPhone doesn't compare to "shitty" android phones. When you compare it to the flagship phones of different groups, you get relatively equal return on initial investment. For proof: search unsubsidized used android and iPhones. The price differences for those released at similar times in current similar conditions is usually within approximately $20. It's, at the absolute very least, comparable.

I would put a conservative estimate at the percentage of your posts having emoticons at 97.5%.

Just a bit of advice. You bring a lot to the board, but lay off the emoticons. It makes you come off as an a-hole.
