I noticed that house when I was looking last week

I was looking in to getting in to the network, but by the time I would get one it would be too late to make much money due to halving in August

Either General Informatics or someone that works there and is about to be fired because of this thread.

Actually these things only burn like 10 watts and very little data.

Already been sold, and it won't be long for the top guys to be run off once the new bean counters dig into the numbers. They have been giving their business away for several years now and it caught up with them.

Well I don't know anything about that place, but I've dug a bit more into the blockchain explorer. If I'm understanding correctly, it looks like 24 miner hotspots in BR (pretty much all of them) are all owned by the same address on the blockchain. They are pulling in roughly 250 HNT per DAY, currently valued at around $3,250. Over the last 30 days they have mined more than $100k worth of HNT. Further, on April 16, 5 transfers of 10k HNT each were moved to 5 different accounts not associated with any hotspots. That's about $650k worth of funds.

And looking at the grouping and spacing of the hotspots, it looks less like a rogue employee and more like a legit business related and planned network build.

Couple companies in BR offering $50 a month to put a hotspot in your home or place of business.

Yea, and it's impossible to mine it without some solid ASICs

im considering bringing my exiting rigs to my office. idk if how our power arrangement works here. i dont think it would raise a flag with IT with how much data is transferred.

Episode Two: The Path To 5G
quote:

On April 14th, the Helium community voted to pass HIP 27, which effectively paves the way for the Helium Network to become the first consumer-owned 5G network in the world.

I think this is going to be a very big deal. These 5G miners are going to be very hard to get, but I'm definitely going to try to pick up a few of them.

I think getting on the FreedomFi waitlist for $100 (refundable) is the first and so far only 5g miner.

I saw an estimated equipment cost of $1k-5k depending on your choice/requirement of radio/antenna.

quote:

FreedomFi expects the end-to-end 5G setup to cost between $1,000 and $5,000, depending on how powerful the 5G radio included with the system will be.

aaahh not so cheap

the plain helium miners, if you can get one, are cheaper than that. i wonder the mining differences.
