I listen to music and TV with Sony MDR-7506 Professional headphones. Cost only ~$90 from Amazon and blow away my kids Beats. They are constantly bugging me to use them.

I have these AKG Q701 Quincy Jones Signature Reference-Class Premium Headphones

Love them, but they are straight reference headphones, not bass heavy at all. I prefer it that way, but some may not.

Are the iPhone compatible?
Also read some reviews on the 598s, is it true that aren't great with watching tv? I want to use these for Netflix on my ps4

Momentums are apple compatible and what i use with my ps4.

598s are open back and thus wouldn't be my first choice for that, although they'd be good under some circumstances. 598s are superior to Momentums as an affordable but audiophile quality headphone, but may not be preferable for your use.

I have a pair and they're great. They are open back. So great with long listening sessions. The sound is crystal clear. *No bass.
I would recommend them for Nextfix, music and TV use.

Also, they are not portable; they do not fold up. And the sound leaks so I would not take them out in public.

*does have some bass.

sold mine awhile back, well, the older model. Needed the money.

Nothing wrong with them, the newer ones can detach the cable which is nice.

These Sennheiser Momentums are now $190 because they are now pushing Momentums 2.0. They were originally sold for around $400 a few years ago. I bought a pair and they sound great (I stream music at work). They are also Iphone compatible. I highly recommend them and they are made of high quality materials. These (over ear). I tried all of the top recommend earphones, and they were easily my favorite.

Go to a best buy that has a magnolia section and try all of them yourself before buying.

Is it worth it to buy the 2.0 version?

I have no clue. I can't imagine there is a big difference. Read the reviews for the 2.0s on Amazon and see what the differences are. I love mine. I hear parts in the music I've never heard before (I used ear buds prior).
