Favorite internet browser?

I've longed pushed Firefox, but find myself wanting to get away from it. The three computers I use (Laptop PC, MacBook Air and Mac) all suffer from either Flash or Shockwave issues. All 3 will "hang" when I am working inside the browser.
Used to have a similar issue (Shockwave) with Google Chrome. Has this been corrected by Google?
How does Opera rate out these days? I assume the majority of today's browsers will import bookmarks?

Some people have more trouble with Firefox, some have more trouble with Chrome. There are so many factors that it's hard to say which will work better for you. Also personal preference is a major factor.
One thing I like to do is keep several browsers installed so that I can switch things up every now and then. I also like trying new browsers. Ever heard of Vivaldi? The former CEO of Opera started Vivaldi. It has some neat features, but isn't quite a daily driver yet. It's still in the "preview" stage and several features we are used to haven't been fleshed out yet.
edit: Vivaldi's download page seems broken right now. That's about right.

I've been surfing Lycos on my netscape navigator for dern near 30 years. Just as fast today as it was then. I see no reason to change...

I suppose...if it ain't broke, don't fix it, eh?!

I switched from Firefox to Chrome on both Mac and PC and was pretty happy. Now I'm using Firefox again on both and also pretty happy. I guess I'm just fickle, but both are great for me these days.
I will say once either gets a glitch, they are equally difficult to fix in my experience. So if both go out on me in the near future, I guess I'll just have to get new computers.

Why no Safari?
ETA: FYI, Google used Apple's rendering engine for years in Chrome. They just recently forked it. One of the great innovations Google brought to their browser was each tab ran as a separate process. Apple adopted that innovation in Yosemite. There isn't much difference between Chrome and Safari under the hood.

I primarily use Chrome. It's fast and sleek. The only issue I have with it is that it doesn't recognize that I have QuickTime installed and updated when I try to remotely check my home security cameras. That's about the only time I use IE on my home computer.

I use FireFox and have for a very long time. It's probably why I still use it - I love my add-ons and I can grab my FF profile and move it from machine to machine keeping intact bookmarks, login/passwords, add-on preferences, etc without using cloud or any importing/exporting.
I have no issue with Chrome though, just steadfast in my ways I guess.

Unless you manually sync devices locally, how do you sync on multiple machines? Cloud. It's my personal preference to avoid cloud in general even though it was my professional specialty for years. When I believe any cloud is truly safe, I'll consider it.
FF works great for me, everything is local and takes literally seconds to copy my entire profile to backup/move. I have no need for change.
ETA: I know Chrome will try to import settings, but in my experience, it hasn't worked to my liking.
