My BIL pre-ordered one of these SOBs on the day they were announced....still has yet to receive it.

Where from? I did mine DJI direct 2 days after preorder and got mine on black Friday. Newegg has been on top of their shite though, they have been delivering faster than anyone. People that ordered at the beginning of December are getting them now from Newegg.

After my order hadn't been processed since last Friday, I emailed today and they are claiming is was a "pre-order". It didn't say that at time I placed order and my order confirmation said it would ship in 1-3 days.
No much I can do, but wait it out a bit. I'll cancel if I find elsewhere.
Edit: the flymore combo did say delayed shipping at time of this thead. The $999 version didn't mention any delayed shipping. May have been a mistake to not have the delayed shipping on$999 version.

It clearly said on the page that the Mavic wouldn't ship til 1/5 when you ordered it. I even said that in my original post too. Newegg has been good about shipping before their published time, but this is asking a bit much of them.
The extra battery I ordered just got charged and will ship soon.

I may have missed it, but I didn't see any reference to delayed shipping on the $999 drone only deal.
I saw it stated on the site that the $1299 packaged deal as being delayed and that's why I went with the $999 deal as it looked like it would ship now.
No big deal. I was mainly letting poster that thought he missed out that he really didn't.

Want a mavic pro bad. Last January I bought the phantom 3 standard at best buy for 599 and 2 weeks later it dropped to 499. Wondering when we'll see a price drop on these..I know they just came out but frick if I'm dropping a grand to see them go for cheaper a few months later.

Mine shipped yesterday. Have the fed ex tracking number with delivery set for next Wednesday, January 4th.

I changed my order to Newegg after my last post. Just talked with DJI to switch shipment to my office since you have to sign for it. They said mine will ship out either the 6th or the 9th. Looks like the wait time is dwindling.

Well Now i just changed my order to Crutchfield. They have 27 left in stock shipping out today if you order. getting mine friday.
ETA: planning on keeping the 2nd order and selling on ebay. or if someone nice on here wants one i might off load it here.
