It certainly introduces a variable. My Asus RT-N66 gets pretty good throughput, but there's lots of people still running B/G routers.

Yea, going from 20 ping on wired to 50 on wireless makes NO difference

He's talking about downstream speed tests. Several people were showing their downstream speeds and qualifying it with "tested on wifi" or something to that effect.
I do get a lower result from wifi on my router though, but only when the door is closed. Signal not so stellar on those internal antennae.

We aren't talking ping comparisons...I'm saying educate yourself that 70Mbps wired and 64Mbps wireless is acceptable..I don't expect much more difference than that when I test...People that have a N300 router and see 64Mbps are freaking out, instead of realizing what the numbers mean
