Have seen that Amazon Fire Sticks are gonna be $15 at some point around or on Black Friday.

Thinking about buying a handful installing Kodi on them all. Then selling them to guys at work for a small profit to have a little extra Christmas cash.

My old Sony a/v receiver died yesterday so I need to find another one asap. Hoping someone has a solid deal during Black Friday or cyber Monday.

the last 3 years, Amazon has had a solid midrange Yamaha receiver for 299 on Black Friday. It was the RX-V671, then 673, 675, so probably the 677 this year. Highly recommended at that price point.

I've seen all of Best Buy's deal. The 4K you posted is like the worst deal they have. They have all 4K TVs on sale all weekend so you don't have to fight the cluster frick crowds trying to get a door buster.

The 2015 Sony models are on HUGE sale. I bought my 65 inch Sony on Labor Day for $2,500. It will be on sale for $1,800 that whole weekend. 55 an 75 inch also on sale. I think 55 inch is $400 off and 75 inch is $1,500 off.

Just can't imagine paying that kind of money for a TV right now.

$500 is my cap until something amazing happens with the technology like my TV arrives rolled up in a poster box.

There is an amazing difference in picture quality in the 4K. Especially a good one like we bought. I was stunned in the difference. And yes, I'm talking about just watching a football game on ESPN.

I agree. It looks great... I'm just not ready to spend $1k+ yet for that upgrade until the contrast ratio issue has been resolved and the TV ships in a cardboard cylinder.

Eta especially when I can get a 50" for $149. Just no way I can justify that price jump right now.

i know sony has smart apps & 4k and shite..but really? a $2,351 difference in price for 15 inches?

there is definitely a 'mcdonalds 99 cent chicken sandwichs' vs '$4.39 grilled chicken sandwich' economy at work here with TVs.

yeah cad is poor, cheap, likes lousy tv pics..but it hurts my feelings to pay that much for a tv.

will sell the Xbox One with "The Lego Movie Video Game" and Samsung 40-inch 1080p HDTV for $499.98 (regularly $729.98 for bundle / doorbuster only).

If this were a smaller TV I'd be all over it. I need one for my home office, but nothing bigger than a 32"...it's not a very big room.
