Moving in to our new house and I'm looking for a soundbar but don't want to spend a lot. Suggestions?

Vizio
I just bought this one for $250, great sound. Better than expected.

Heard the Vizio one is good. Look into Klipsch. I think they have one around that price point.

I ask because I have the S4251, but I got it for I think $189, or some price cheaper than $250, and I highly recommend it.
Just looking out for the OP that there may be a better deal out there. If your S3851 model is the higher end, then that would obviously make more sense.

I've heard great things about the Sonos Playbar BUT that's around 600-700$. I wasn't sure how dead set you were on the 300$ price point.

I would find something that sounds awesome and is a little out of your price range, and then find one used. I bought a Definitive Technology SSA-50 on ebay for a huge chunk off of retail because it was used. Most of these just sit on a TV stand or mounted to a wall and will last forever (if you buy a decent one) as long as you treat them well, so I wouldn't be afraid of used.

Things bad arse but you need a 5.1 amp and a sub. It's an expensive set up.
OP check out Polk's surroundbar5000

Sonos is to Tech Board as Yeti is to Outdoor Board

Get the vizio var with the woofer and satellite speakers off amazon

I just got the Vizio Bar and wireless subwoofer (no satellite speakers) and it is a great sound bar. Better than any others in it's price range that I demoed.
I didn't bother with the satellite speakers because I don't really have anywhere to put them at the moment and my living room is pre-wired so eventually the soundbar is going into my bedroom and the living-room is going to get a high-end surround-sound setup.

Just an FYI about the Vizio soundbar. It's a great deal and the sound quality is pretty good but my sub went out in less than a year. Maybe it's not a common thing but figured I would tell you my experience.
