P.S. To help make saying “Hi” to Project Fi a little easier, we’ll be offering the Nexus 5X starting at $199 for the next month when you buy and activate through Project Fi.

It should be fine as long as either Sprint or T-Mobile is fine in that area. I have been using Fi for around 3 months and love it. I had Sprint before and this has improved my coverage because I also picked up T-Mobile service. The link below will take you to their coverage map. Looks to me like you should be fine using it there.

I may make this move. $40 month instead of $60 and I keep my same number. What's the catch?

It is and it's great. So far I've gotten a $5 refund and a $4 refund for my low usage in my first two months

So far I use less than one gig a month on my 6P since areas of highest usage for me, home, work and hotel all have free wifi readily available.

i just ordered the 32 gig 5x.

I'm with Straight Talk now. Been with them for well over 5 years and have been very satisfied with their service. Only thing was finding a good used phone every couple of years to use with the service. This will be my first new phone in 5 years.

You will not be disappointed with either the 5X or 6P. Pure android is the way to go.

it's far from crap but another gig of ram would've done wonders for this phone. I might jump on this also.

the only thing you would want to check out is how your coverage will be. You can try out Fi with a new number and then port your regular number over

Debated this one a while but I just don't think I can live with 32GB. At least not long term. After going 64GB with my Oneplus One and not having to worry about space I don't think I want 32GB. Wish they had a 64GB option. I need something with Band 12 support for Tmo though and I don't love any of the phones with Band 12 support.

Is it possible to only pay and get the plan when I am travelling internationally? Can I bring any old phone to get Project Fi on it? What are some other (cheaper) options for me to have Data and maybe calling/text when I am travelling internationally?
