In theory this is cool, but Yedlin and Beasley are going to be pinned in the entire night.

Hopefully Guzan isn't too old and the shite play as of late was due to him being on the worst team

Stu is saying it's a 3-4-3.

Pulisic on the left, Arriola on the right.

He can call it a 3 man back line, but it's really a 5 man back.

DMB will become the first US player to play a match in 5 different World Cup Qualifier cycles.

Having Arriola and Gonzales in the lineup makes sense because they play in Liga MX and are familiar. Guzan makes no f*cking sense other than Howard is nicked.

Why no Brooks in the 11?

Was never going to play both games. We used him for the more important one.

Yep, this is a 5-4-1 in reality... I do like having Pulisic & Arriola on the flanks since both have the speed to track back.

I hate this.

Beasley, Acosta, Ream, and Arriola are not 4 of our ten best players. Beasley and Ream aren't even close. To be those are guys that I would consider not even putting in a 23 man roster.

This is a crucial game and we are going without some of our very best players for no reason.

Why the hell aren't Nagbe, Jozy, and Fabian Johnson playing?

And I don't like changing formations rapidly. It generally confuses players.

We had a good team out there on Thursday and we only needed to make some minor changes. This is idiotic from Arena.

This is asking ALOT out of Acosta. I'm a huge fan but he's never been tested like this before. I would rather move Brooks into the center backline and push Cameron up into the DMF where he excels.

Ehh... for pride maybe, but in terms of the Hex, not really. This is a game that we always mark down as a loss.
