Lame attempt at a comeback. Just wanted to know what that was about. I'm interested in the US v Mexico aspect of the game.
Why can't you give a straight answer to my earlier question?

Straight answer... no pun intended... anyway, it's sarcasm by embracing the stereotype based on the trope that "soccer is gay"

You need to relax.

Making fun of people who like soccer. That's pretty much it. It was embraced by this board because why not?

Okay, that's all I needed. Then it's a funny post.

Nope, I'm mellow right now. Thanks for letting me in on the humor, seriously. It's funny. I like both sides of it.

Thanks for the non-defensive answer. I like stereotype jokes and their funny responses. The back and forth is amusing.

We'll see what changes Bruce has in mind. Don't want us to tinker with the lineup too much. Wouldn't be surprised if FabJo doesn't start after his performance Thursday. Might see Acosta or Bedoya instead.

It's a 3 day turnaround and playing in a place with smog and high altitude, there will be at least 3/4 changes in the XI.

We're trying to get away from playing players out of position.

Why do Mexicans eat tamales on Christmas?

So they have something to unwrap.

7 changes sounds absurd, even considering how deep this roster is.

Matthew Doyle said he'd be surprised if Arriola doesn't start.

I mean, he may be right, but he doesn't have any inside information... just making an educated guess.

How does the US team prepare for an elevation of 7,200ft? If the Broncos have an advantage at Mile High, how does another 2000ft impact an opponent?

They played in Salt Lake City & Denver the last week, but I don't think you can truly prepare for it, especially for the guys that have never played in the Azteca before.
