I think Bournemouth is Lallana's hometown club. I assume it'll be played there since we just played it home. Should be fun for him.

If I remember right, we played them last year too, and they didn't look too bad at all.

So if we win, do we play Chelsea next or is it another draw?

hate to read stuff like that

I get Caribbean vibes every time I cruise, and sometimes when I hear Jimmy Buffet - does that mean I could become injury prone too?

Yeah, you hate to hear Liverpool's best striker may spend long stretches of each year off the field.

ETA - thanks for the article though.

Can't wait to have him back to partner with Mario... With Origi in next year, I'm kinda undecided on if I think we need another striker...

Those 3 and Borini may be good enough to rotate through... That's assuming Mario eventually comes good, Borini isn't already out the door, and Lambert may be one and done.. Also, considering Daniels injury concerns..

that said, if we have the opportunity to bring in another quality striker (relatively speaking)... Would you do it? Maybe someone like Bony that's experienced or Berahino who is young...

I like Sturridge, but he can be so dramatic sometimes

Ive liked him since before his Liverpool days

Him and Welz are England's future up top.

I don't really see anything dramatic... mainly laying his injury concerns on heredity... plausible..

I took the Caribbean stuff as tongue and cheek, though...

Just him talking about how it's his toughest days at Liverpool and all that. I like that he's dedicated and wants to get back, and I'm sure it is hard to be out for a while, but it just seems like he takes it too hard and puts a lot of pressure on himself mentally.

He basically put it in the clubs hands.

Its a bit more complicated than that. I'm sure he wouldn't accept going to 30k a week and getting half the playing time - he wants to play, and will demand a certain price. But I don't think he'll try to screw us over or demand anything too much. I'd love for him to be a one club guy, but he's got to be ready to play less as time goes on - or not necessarily play less, just not play almost every game.

Thoughts on the lineup this morning? Staggered 4-3-3 with Coutinho coming off the left, or is he playing sterling up front with balotelli In a diamond? Was really hoping to see the Italians up front in a diamond.

ETA: it's mignolet, Johnson, Skrtel, Lovren, Moreno, Gerrard, Hendo, Allen, Coutinho, sterling, balotelli
