Terrible first half.
I would love to see Allen on the pitch to help us keep possession in the second half.
Gerrard higher up had one good moment, and lots of meh.
Can did not show me that he can protect the back four very well.
Also - posted this in the matchday thread, but I think its needs some 'pool supporter thoughts -
I'm very disapointed that Rodgers has had two weeks to work with a good number of these guys and this is the type of performance we're seeing. Its like the first time they've played together.

Thankfully Raheem was rested during the week... He looked lively until the end..

I had a bad feeling when Vargas came on for QPR, probably cause I like him as a player..

I don't mind Enrique. He's usually solid in the back, and even though he looks unorthodox, he can be effective at times in attack.
That said, he had a shitty day, but far from the only one

I think he's serviceable at best... And it's his giving the ball away with careless passes that drives me nuts..
He does have decent recover ability at the back, but to me, that says a lot about him...

Yea that first (I think) goal was pretty much all on him letting Vargas dribble past him, put in an uncontested cross, and then didn't track him back for an uncontested header after they put the ball back across goal

This would be good.. he's a LFC fan, but still soo young... Doubt he'd contribute much for a few years if he came.

Three errors on one goal. That has got to be a record. I'm running a season on fifa 15 and his bitch arse wants to be sold in the next transfer window because of his lack of playing time I think I'll let him go on a free after today

I agree, though I'm not heartbroken with not getting Valdes.. The main appeal was that he was free and could come in immediately...
I kinda got the feeling we were setting ourselves up for a big disappointment given his age and that knee, if we signed him..

And besides if we don't want to play good clubs in Champions League, then why do we even want to be in CL to begin with? We have waited 5 years for a fixture like this. I'm going to savor it.
