should be a more open 2nd half... they can't sit back like they were... I hope for more goals... a clean sheet would be huge..

When he brought on Lucas.. all I could think of was that dangerous free kick he was about to give away...

If we put away our chances, it wouldn't have been anywhere close to what it was..

PL Schedule through the new year.

Palace (A) 10/29
Watford (H) 11/6
Southampton (A) 11/19
Sunderland (H) 11/26
Bournemouth (A) 12/4
West Ham (H) 12/11
Middlesbrough (A) 12/14
Everton (A) 12/19
Stoke (H) 12/27
Man City (H) 12/31

30 available points, we have to make some hay down this stretch. 6 games in December, ending home to City is going to be fricking awesome to watch.

The great start helps us out a lot

5 teams at 19 and 20 points still makes things very grey for not only the title race but also even just a champions league spot, plus we're only a quarter through the season so a lot of football left

This just looks like it's gonna be a fun year

This is the type of season where one month long hamstring injury may take you from fighting for 1st to out of the top 4.

Every game is important and every point dropped is big.

No Europe will be huge for us - just look at this past weekend where none of the top 4 challengers playing in Europe won.

I disagree with you on 2 fronts:

1) I don't think we should get ahead of ourselves and think we are fighting for the top spot. We don't have the defense for it, yet. The back 5 have barely played with each other. But that will be fixed next year I suspect.
2) I don't think 1-2 injuries is that much of a problem for us now, thankfully. The squad is very interchangeable with the exception of a RB. We saw this with Wijnaldum/Can. In the front three, if anyone gets injured, we have Studge/Origi. That needs a little bit of an adjustment in playing style but far from bad. We have goals coming from everywhere. 20 goals and none of them are from DS. Couple people with 5, and a couple with 4. That is amazing to see.

Karius, Lovren, Matip, Moreno, Clyne, Can, Wijnaldum, Stewart, Sturridge, Lallana, Mane
.
Only reason I think back 3 will remain unchanged is so to get them more minutes as a unit. We may well see Migs and Klavan instead.
